Show TO BUILD MONUMENT IN HONOR OF HEROES BRIGHAM CITY, Dec. 6. The committee com-mittee recently appointed to take the necessary steps to secure a monument in honor of the soldier ana sailor boys from Box Elder county who have made the supreme sacrifico in giving their lives for the freedom of the world met during the week and organized. Judge Justin D. Call was made president pres-ident of the organization; J. Edward Ryan secretary, and John C. Wheat-ley, Wheat-ley, treasurer. The secretary was authorized au-thorized to write to all mayors of towns and bishops of wards relative to making and appropriation toward the fund. According to plans thus far formulated, formu-lated, it is oxpected to erect the monument monu-ment in Brigham City at the intersection intersec-tion of Main and Forest streets. Judge Call said last night that preliminary pre-liminary arrangements only were made, but nothing less than a $20,000 monument would be fitting. oo |
