Show j Garland Society (Special to The Standard) Mr and Mrs. J. Nihart ontertained 1 at a family dinner recently. Those I present were Mr. and Mrs. George I Cole and Mr. Colo's mothor Mrs. Ida Cole of Denver, Colo., and Miss Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Nihart. Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Shaw left Wednesday Wed-nesday evening for Logan to be present pres-ent at a dinner given at the home of Mrs. Shaw's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Owens. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Eldrldge of Thatcher were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peck on Thanksgiving day. Mrs. Winnie Sanderson left Thursday Thurs-day for Fairview to visit relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. George Gleason have as their guests Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Jensen of Brlgham City. Mr. Jensen will leave soon for Mare Island, Cal. Dr. K. C. Berg was In Willard to spond Thanksgiving with his wife and parents and other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Pearsson have as their guoats, Mrs. Pearsson's bro-i ther, Reed Pearsaon of tho University of Utah. , J I Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Preston motored to Brlgham City to bo present at a dinner given in their honor at tho homo of Mr. and Mrs. W. Preston. ,Thoy wore accompanied by Miss Liz-jzie Liz-jzie Preston, MIbs Wanda Rose, Mr. Hyrum Barnard and Mr. George Blans-' Blans-' ford. I Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Johnson have had as their guest Mrs. Johnson's mother, mo-ther, Mrs. N. Anderson of Brlgham City. Mrs. Anderson returned to her home Saturday of last week. Miss Nellie Barnard spent part of last week visiting with relatives and friends in Brigham City. Mrs. C. Smith and children are spending the week with relatives in Brlgham City. Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Edwards entertained en-tertained at a dinnor recently a few of their closest relatives. Covers were laid for eleven. Homer Anderson has gone to Camp Lewis, Wash. His mother, Mrs. Chris Anderson accompanied him to Ogdcn. Mr. and Mrs. Torbensen have returned re-turned from a few days' visit with relatives rel-atives and friends at Snowville. 00 |
