Show NO DEATHS IN OGDEN FROM INFLUENZA REPORTED SINCE ' FRIDAY'S ISSUE OF STAfSARB i 1 There were 50 new cases of influenza influ-enza reported by city physicians up to five o'clock last night, said Mr. Shorten Short-en this morning. According to Dr. McGilllcuddy and a number of Ogden physicians, the disease dis-ease now seems to be attacking patients pa-tients in the lighter forms and there is a marked decrease in pneumonia complications. While nothting definite could be learned at the city board of health offices as to any immediate lifting of the quarantine, there is a pronounced feeling that, should the, epidemic de- I , crease materially day by day during I the next seven days, it will be possible! to consider the opening of places of public assembly and return to the ways of normal living with ono lesson learned that it Is tho Imperative duty of every sick person to desire themselves them-selves quarantined and of every well person to soe that the sick aro so treated and cared for that there may be no recurrence of the epidemic on a large scale as has occurred in other cities throughout the country. There 'were no deaths since yesterday. |
