Show ELM BOYS FROM' CSCHE VALLEY EILIST ' I Fighting young Americans continue-to continue-to swamp the navy recruiting station here in their eagerness to help trounce the kaiser. The enlistments today totalled fourteen, four-teen, only three less than Thursday's enrollment, when seventeen out "of twenty-three applicants were accepted. Thursday was the bannor day in the history of the local recruiting station. The following is tho "honor roll" for today: Joseph McMurrln, 2G, electrician, Logan; E. W. Lelshman, 18. farmer. Wcllsville; Harry A. Shaw. 22, farmer, farm-er, Logan; William V. Shaw, 22. farm, "or, Paradise; David J. Christensen, 22. draughtsman. Logan, Morris S. Jones, 22, farmer, Wellsvillo: Floyd S. Eailev, 21, farmer, Wcllsville; Rotfert L. Allen, Al-len, 30. farmer, Logan, Frank A. Ren-son, Ren-son, 21, farmer, Logan- Percy Hawkos, 2G, farmer, Logan: James W. Hill, 21. farmer. Liberty; Thomas D. Rhodes, 20, farmer. Liberty; Ivan S. Hansen, 25, clerk, Ogden. and Arthur P. Brown, 21, farmer. Roy. Lieutenant Nicholas, in charge of the navy recruiting station, announced today that the first six previous service serv-ice men of twelve years' experience to re-enlist in the Ogdcn district will bo assigned to recruiting duty. It is bc lieved that this offer will last but a short time or just long enough for that number of previous sorvice men to learn that the offer has been ! issued. oo |
