OFFICISLS MEET TO CONSIDER TAX QUESTIONS County officials of Morgan, Davis, Weber and Summitt counties met this ; morning in Ogden at the county court house to discuss tho recommendations of the state board of equalization regarding re-garding tho apportionment of taxes. President John "Watson of the state board and James Hammond, ox-secretary of state and also a member of tho state board, were present with the county officials. The topic discussed was suggested by the state board of equalization and dealt with raising the necessary revenue rev-enue without overburdening the people. peo-ple. A sot of rules for the guidance of tax officers which were proposed by the state board were also considered. consid-ered. Weber county is in good shape in this respect, however, as most of tho suggestions have already been incorporated in-corporated in its procedure.
