Show ' Chicago Quotations j CHICAGO, Oct. 10 New breaks took place in the corn market today, influenced exclusively by develop ments in the military and diplomatic situation. Rallies ensued but for the most part quickly failed. The rapid fluctuations indicated plainly the general gen-eral nervous feeling of traders. Opening Open-ing prices, which ranged from 1 to 4c net lower, with November $1.12 to 1.13 and December $1.10 to 1.11, were followed by declines In some cases to under the initial bottom figures. Oats dropped sharply with corn. General Gen-eral liquidation by holders was in evidence. evi-dence. After opening lVlc off to c up with November 64 to 64c, the market recovered slightly and then headed downgrade. Provisions fell the maximum limit allowed for a single day. Offerings were not large but there was no demand. de-mand. Restless irregularity of price changes chang-es in corn continued through the session. ses-sion. Shorts covered freely near the finish. The close was unsettled 3Jc net lower to fc advance, with November Novem-ber $1.12 to 1.12 and December $1.10 to 1.11.
