Show JAS W. DURTOI DIES: AT THE AGE OF I - 81 YEARS , James Walter Burton, aged 81, dlodji Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock 0W; general debility. He was one of the earliest pioneers of Weber county,': ;lnd a brother of the late William W. Burton. I Mr. Burton was born at Bedford, j; Eng., May 5, 1837. and was tho son of James and Isabella Walton Burton. He became a member of tho Latter- Day Saints church when a boy and em- : igrated to Utah in 1855. He had been . an active member of the church of his adoption Until his death. His brothers-died brothers-died about three months ago and a sis- (; ter, Mrs. Margaret Marriott, died last s week. Mr. Burton is survived by a widow ) and the following children James Burton, Mrs. Eliza Moulding, f Joseph Burton, Jesso Burton. There .'j are4 also fourteen grandchildren and rj fivc great grandchildren and ono brother, Thomas Burton, whq survive, f The funeral will be held Friday, ntjj 2p. m., In the Fourth ward chapel, W. with Bishop E. A. Olsen presiding. The !m body will lie in state Thursday ove- nlng and Friday until 1 o'clock at the jm homo of his son, James Burton, 2550 9 Quincy avenue.
