Show ILEX HON DIES II LIW n, LAYTON, Oct. 9. Alexander Dawson, Daw-son, prominent farmer and for many years active in the business and social Hfo of this city, died today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emma V. Simpson. Mr. Dawson was born in Scotland a little moro thnn eighlv-onc years ago. While In South Africa in 1858 he identified iden-tified himself with tho Mormon church and in 18G0 came to Utah. In 1S61 ho removed to Kaysville, but a year later camo to Layton and had since made his home here. He is survived by the following children: chil-dren: Mrs. Elizabeth Crlddlo of Kavs-ville, Kavs-ville, Mrs. Margaret I. Dotld of Itoger-son, Itoger-son, Iduho: Alexander Dawson, Jr., of Layton, Mrs. Annie P. Bennett of SjTacuse, Mrs. ElOe L. Denkers of Og-den, Og-den, Mrs. Eva Ella Bay of South Weber We-ber and Mrs. Emma V. Simpson of Kaysville. It Is expected that funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the Layton meeting house, wiGi burial at Kaysville. -nn |
