Show uu OGBEN'S POPULATION BEIIC LISTED BY COMMITTEE Plans for taking a complete census of Ogden's population, including every one past tho age of 15 or 16 years, will be perfected tonight at a meeting of the census division of the safety and preparation committee, of which C. L. Holhngsworth is chairman, in safety headquarters, room 6, Utah National bank building. Mr. Holllngsworth said the city would bo divided into five general sections, sec-tions, each of which will be subdivided subdivid-ed into districts ranging in size from three to eight blocks, making each district dis-trict a compact territory. Census-takers will be appointed tonight, who, in turn, will appoint enumerators for each district "The whole city will be canvassed thoroughly in three or four days, after the machinery for the work is perfected," perfect-ed," said Mr. Holllngsworth. ABide from the value of the census during the war period, this work will verify with exactness the population of Ogden and show Its recent growth. nn |
