Show MID FOBGEfi IS CAUGHT By THE OFFICERS By a bit of brilliant detective work on the part of Cbunty Attorney Charles L. Farr and Sheriff Herbert C. Peterson, Peter-son, with the prompt co-operation of one of the victims, another alloged badly wanted forger was placed behind the bars today. He Is alleged to bo another of Uio numerous tribe of "Alias Jimmy Valentino," known locally local-ly as J. M. Ilines, alias Williams, alias King, identified as the man who pass-' pass-' od a number of forged cheoks a day or two ago. i Two of the checkB were Blgned with i tho name of the Boyd-Ecclos Lumber ; company and one had tho forged signature sig-nature of the Eccles Lumber company. Three checks wero cashed, as far as ', known, each for a small amount, from $8 to $10. County Attorney Farr said tho man had been Identified. The .dragnet caught tho alleged forger at Salt Lake. Ho will bo brought back today for trial. |
