Today the letters carry the following follow-ing inscriptions: "American relief for Armenians and Syrians." "The commission for relief in Bel-glum." Bel-glum." "Tho commission for relief of the Jews." "Commission for relief of French orphans." From one hundred different sources come cries for help. Wo dread tho thought of failing to meet the pleadings plead-ings for help, and yet know hundreds of thousands of war sufferers must perish owing to the Inability of America Am-erica to care for them. |
