Show Deaths and Funerals VAN DER ' VERR Johanus Too-dorus Too-dorus Van der Verr died yesterday at 5 p. m., at the family residence, 3211 Jefferson of valvular disease of the heart. He was born in Holland, August 12, 1S60, and came to Utah in 1910. Since that time he has made his home In Ogden. He was married to Marie De Hart in Houana in ioiu. For several years past ihe deceased was employed by the Last and Thomas Company. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Peter W. Dc Hart, John C. De Hart, William P. De Hart and Mrs. Cora Robinson of Ogden and Mrs. Petrina de Krawl of Holland. The funeral announcements wil be made later. The body was removed to the Lind-quist Lind-quist mortuary. The funeral will bo held Sunday at 2 p. m. in the Llndquist chapel, with Elder Evart Neuteboom officiating. The body may be viewed at the chapel tomorrow afternoon and Sunday until un-til the funeral hour. Interment will be In the city cemetery. LINDSAY A brief funeral service for William Lindsay was held yester-day yester-day at the Sixth Ward meeting house, with Bishop O. M. Sanderson presiding, and the body was then taken to Eden, where services were conducted by Bishop George Fuller. Special music was furnished by the Edan Ward choir, Mrs. Mary Farley, Mrs. Maude Lloyd and Robert Green-well. Green-well. The speakers were John Taylor, Tay-lor, James S. Carver, Daniel C. Walker, Wal-ker, O. M. Sanderson, J. P. Anderson, James Rirle and Bishop Fuller. Interment In-terment was in the Eden cemetery. SMITH The body of Joseph R. Smith, who died in Montpelier, Idaho, August 31, will be brought to Ogdon tomorrow at 4 p. ni. It will bo taken in charge by the Llndquist Undertakers Under-takers and interred in the city cemetery. ceme-tery. BALLANTYNE. Funoral services for Mrs. Katherine E. Ballantyne, wife of Lee Ballantynfe wore held yesterday afternoon in the Fifth ward chapel, with Bishop's Counselor Chris J. Brown presiding. The chapel was filled to capacity with friends and relatives of the deceased, from Ogden and a number of outside towns, and S her bier was hidden beneath a wealth HE9 of floral tributes. The speakers, all of whom told of the loving character and useful life of the deceased were Bishop Alonzo Francis and Counselor Richard Frye of Morgan; George H. Island of Salt Lake City, and Bishop's Bish-op's Counselor L. Dow Browning. The invocation was offered by John A, Boyle and the benediction was pronounced pro-nounced by Charles Halverson, Interment Inter-ment was in the city cemetery, the grave being dedicated by Orson Douglas.
