Show DOGS TO MATCH When the fashionable woman changes her frock she also changes her dog. At least this seems to be the case with a- number of society leaders whose doings at the famous summer colonies are always matters of general gen-eral Interest. One fashion leader appears with an advanced autumn street frock of wool velours, that looks charming against the golden brown hue of this lovely woman's hair. Her hat is of brown trimmed with golden flowers and, of course, the spaniel she carries now . on her arm and now tucked under her bwn5 f the Same tone of golden But do not imagine that this golden brown beauty is the constant companion com-panion of this lady's promenades. Had she chosen to wear a dark brown ve-lour ve-lour walking frock she would have taken a brow chow and had she gone forth in black and white striped sport apparel she would have selected a particularly nobby little fox terrier whose black and white patches accentuated ac-centuated the striking points of her own costume. For occasions when the fashionable dog lover wears sofe white frocks she must have a small white fuzzy lap dog, which, however, would never do for occasions when she chooses to wear white sport clothes on stiffer Sl lines. For then the little helpless ' lapdog would not be at all appropriate, appropri-ate, and though she want a dog as white as her own attire she must have one of brisker appearance and would probably choose a West Highland High-land terrier or a white English bulldog. bull-dog.
