Show FOREST SERVICE WARNSHUNTERS Caution Urged to Avoid Accidents Ac-cidents and to Decrease Fire Hazards. Washington, Sept. 1. Warnings to hunters on national forests to use greater care to prevent forest fires and avoid accidents to persons was issued by the federal forest bureau today in which the destruction of property and human life due to carelessness care-lessness is emphasized. Figures are given to show that between be-tween 150 and 200 persons are killed annually in hunting accidents in the United States and that fifteen percent per-cent of all fires in the national forests are caused by careless hunters and others. nn |
