The explosion H destroyed a grenadier post and shelter H and shattered the enemy works. K "Our heavy artillery directed its Hj fire on the Malancourt wood and Avo- H court during German counter-attacks B on the adjacent sector. H Counter-attacks Repulsed. H "West of the Mouse the bombard- H ment continued with violence during H the day from Avocourt as far as Belh- K incourt.
