Show ROBERT A JIDBLETDi, AGED DGDEIITE, DEAD Robert Alderson MIddleton, well known resident of Ogden died of general gen-eral debility at the home of his daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Mary Robson Carr on East Twelfth street, this morning at 6:30 o'clock. He was born March 17, 1828 in Sunderland, England, the son of John and Margaret Alderson Middle-ton Middle-ton and was one of the first converts to the church of Latter-day Saints, be-coming be-coming a member In England In 1847. For 63 years he served as a teacher in the church, was a member of the High Priests Quorum of Ogden Stake and at the time of his death was presiding pre-siding teacher in the Seventh ward. Mr. Middleton is survived by four children chil-dren of a family of sixteen, ns follows: fol-lows: John T. ' Middleton, England, William A., Sunnyside, Utah, George of Winter Quarters, Utah, Mrs. Mary Robson Carr of Ogden; S8 grand-children also survive. Remains at Lar-kins' Lar-kins' chapel pending funeral arrangements arrange-ments which will be announced later. |
