Show Deaths and Funerals UNSWORTH Robert Unsworth, a resident of Ogden for many years, died yesterday afternoon at the family fam-ily residence, 3274 Washington avenue. ave-nue. Death was due to apoplexy, from which the deceased had been a sufferer suffer-er several years. Mr. TJnsworth -was born at Bury, Lancashire, England. Sept. 21, 185S. the son of John and Alice Brooks Unsworth. He was converted to the Mormon faith 33 years ago and emigrated to Utah shortly after his baptism into the church. By trade, he was a railroad engineer and a stationary engineer and much of his spare time was passed In attending to his duties In the church for which he left his native land. At the time of his death, he was a member mem-ber of the high priests quorum of the Weber stake. Mr. Unsworth is survived sur-vived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Boulton Unsworth and the following fol-lowing children: Mrs. Emma Paul, Mrs. Ellen Weaver, Miss Alice Unsworth and Miss Myrtle Unsworth Uns-worth of Ogden, and Mrs. Bessie Phillips Phil-lips of. Nampa, Idaho. Six grandchildren, grandchil-dren, four brothers, three sisters and his mother also survive. The body was removed t othe Llndqulst mortuary. mortu-ary. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 in the Ninth ward meeting house, Bishop W. O. Ridges presiding. Remains Re-mains may be viewed at the home, 3274 Washington avenue. Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. MATSON The funeral of Swen MaUson will be held tomorrow at 2 p. m, in the Eighth ward meeting house and Interment will be In the city cemetery. The "body may be viewed at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Matilda Robinson, Second street and Washington avenue, this afternoon after-noon and evening. BROWN AuguBtus Hezekiah Brown died at the family residence, 524 Seventh street, yesterday at 5:15 p. m of Bronchitis. He had been ill about six months. Mr. Brown was born in Ogden, March 1, 1SG1, anu was first married to Eliza Plant, who died a number of years ago. Three .years ago, he married Miss Anna Ironston, who, .with the following children, Mrs. Louis Dornberg of Salt Lake, AugustUB C. Brown of Salt Lake, Mrs. Nellie Garr and Arthur, Albert and Joseph Brown of Ogden, survive. He is also survived by threo grandchildren. The deceased was an active member of the Mormon church since early childhood and was well known In the local community. The funeral announcements will be maae later. |
