GREAT BILLAT ORPHEOM THEATER STARTS TONIGHT There will be some vaudeville show in Ogden this week when the new Empress bill opens with its first performance per-formance this afternoon and continues for the usual three days. It has been some time since we have bad a girl act, but there Is one this week and a good one at that. One could hardly expect to see a better girl act on the vaudeville stage than that offered by Joe Maxwell, called "The Dancing Girls," of which there are seven. The act Is In four scenes and at the finale a real rainstorm rain-storm is produced. Spissell Brothers and Mack have an odd sketch full of laughter and hilarity, called "The New Chef," with a German comedian doing most of the comedy. One of the feature acts of the new bill is that of Warren and Blanchard, two excellent comedians, one of them doing a black face that is a scream. Gladys Wijbur, charming vocalist,1 will sing a number of new and highly pleasing songs. Another excellent comedy acrobatic act will be offered by Patrick, Francisco Fran-cisco and Warren, a trio of clever tumblers and comedians. A real musical treat is in store for Empress patrons when Clark and Ward offer their artistic musical number num-ber on the new bill. The usual funny Keystone comedy will conclude the bill.
