Show FOURTH WARD HAS SUCCESSFUL PLAY The appearance of the Fourth W ard Dramatic club last night in "The Fated Fa-ted Billet Dpux" marked one of the most finished amateur dramatic en tertainments that has been seen In some time The play is of a nature that calls for a display of rare histrionic his-trionic ability for its successful pres entuiioti and the excellent manner In which It was presented proved that several members in the cast possess much natural talent and that the work of all was well directed The leading role, that of Prosper Couranient, was played by Prof Moroni Mo-roni Olaeu, who also directed and staged the production. Mr. Olsen's work was of course professional and, criticised from that point of view, waB a display of finished art and a high compliment to his ability as an actor Miss Beatrice Brewer made a charming foil for Mr. Olsen, in the role of Mile. Suzanne De Russeville, with a total absence of self-conscious ness rind fine control of her lines Merle Anderson, as Louise Ue La Gla ciere, was well cast and the others who took part were equally good according ac-cording to their opportunities. The amusement hall, w here the play was staged, was crowded and the players met with a flattering reception. recep-tion.
