Show oo IDAHO INQUISITORS BRING INDICTMENTS AND TRUE BILLS Boise, Idaho, Feb. 3. The federal grand jury reported two indictments this afternoon and also reported that a true bill had been found in a third case submitted for their consideration. considera-tion. One indictment was found against Qeorge W Boyd, a clerk in the local poetofflce, charging him with embex-i embex-i zlement of United States mailB. Boyd 11 was understood, admitted that he had been oppratlng mail and abstracting abstract-ing money for several months while in the performance of his duty in the office. He was arraigned immediate ly upon the presentment of the indictment in-dictment and was given until tomor row to plead. The bill which the grand jury ignored ig-nored was against Roger Thomas, who had been charged with fraud in securing a civil service grade at the Gooding postoffice. The second Indictment was against Nellie McDevitt, former postmistress at Placervllle, who was bound over by the United States commissioner and who is under bond and will probably prob-ably be arraigned tomorrow morning |
