Show ATTEMPT TO KIDNAP IN IDAHO CASE Boise, Idaho, Feb. 3 Sensational I charges of attempted kidnaping are laid at the door of officials instru-1 mental in the arrest and alleged unlawful un-lawful detention of Charles Thomas, who was taken into custody at Pru-neau Pru-neau without a warrant and thrown into jail to be taken to Montana to answer the charge of deserting a child, and the fight to prevent hla extradition was today carried to Governor Gov-ernor John M. Haines by former Senator Sena-tor K. I. Perky of the law firm ol Perky & Crow, who has been retainej as counsel. In his fight Thomas has the backing, back-ing, It Is claimed, of practically eery citizen of Bruneau who signed a petition peti-tion of protest against the activities en the part of the authorities toward Thomas and against his removal from the Ftate of Idaho.
