Show I "SCARE" IS WORSE ' THAN OTHER EFFECT Salt Lake, Feb. 4 Effect of mental attitude upon physical condition was strikingly illustrated at the emergen cy hospital of the police station yes-f yes-f , terday afternoon when Joseph Baird, baker's salesman, Impressed with the conviction that his last hour on earth had arrived, was carried from the ambulance to a cot for "first aid" t treatment by Assistant City Physi cian H. B. Spraguo. who had been hastily summoned. Baird, with hlB brother, W Eccles Baird, at 2 o'clock had lunch at a local restaurant. Both enjoyed their meal, and W. Eccles felt no 111 effects. ef-fects. Joseph Baird went back to his baker's wagon, being engaged In teaching a new man the route.
