Show SALT LAKE TEAM IS TO TRAIN AT PALISADE. The 1914 pitching staff of the Salt Lake baseball club veterans and recruits, re-cruits, old men and new will leave Salt Lake for Palisade, Colo., on March 20. The date was definitely fixed yesterday by Manager Herb Hester. The pitchers will be accompanied ac-companied by Frank Huelsman, the team's captain, and by Fred Stripp, the veteran catchper, who Is very popular with Salt Lake fans. Hester will leave for Palisade about ten days before the pitchers, In order to get everything In shape for the coming com-ing of the hurlers. The fielders will leave Salt Lake about April 1. Hester expects to have eight or nine pitchers In his squad. He proposes pro-poses to give them a ten-day workout work-out before the rest of the team arrive, ar-rive, so that they will be in condition for such exhibition games as may be arranged. Hester has received a proposition to take his ball team to Las Vegas, Ne There Is a possibility a remote re-mote one that the Palisade trip will bo abandoned for Las Vegas. The switch depends altogether upon the financial advantages, If any, the Las Vegas project may present. Billy Davis, two years with the Skyscrapers, has signed a 1914 contract. con-tract.
