Show NOTED LECTURERS HEIIIID LAST NIGHT A large audience at the First Congregational Con-gregational church last night was addressed ad-dressed by two of America's most noted no-ted Lyceum lecturers. The service meeting was conducted by the pastor, Rev. Frank G. Bralnerd, and the speakers were Prof. Maynard Lee Baggy, head of the oratorical department depart-ment of the University of Washington Washing-ton at Seattle, and Prof. H. A. Adrian, an authority on "plant life." Prof. Daggy spoke upon the life of Abraham Lincoln and Prof. A'drlan recited re-cited Luther Burbank's story, "Cultivating "Cul-tivating a Daisy." Both men handled han-dled their subjects in a most able manner and the audience felt that they were well repaid for attending the meeting. Prof. Adrian will speak tonight at the AVeber academy as a regular number num-ber of the lecture course. |
