Show uu Deaths and Funerals LINDSTROM The funeral of J. W. Llndstrom was held yesterday afternoon in the Eagle hall. The Eagles and Knights of Pythias lodges attended the service in a body and their ritual services were conducted at the grave. The speakers were William Doyle, Hagbert Anderson, Bishop Taylor and Rev. Erik Flor-een. Flor-een. Rev. Floreen is the pastor of the Swedish Evangelical church. The following special musical numbers were rendered: Duet, Bert Syphers and Charles Blair; solo, Erma Browning; Brown-ing; duet, Syphers and Blair; and solo, Hagbart Anderson. Interment was in the Mountain View cemetery. MARRIOTT The funeral of Mrs. Melissa Marriott was held In the Warren meeting house yesterday afternoon af-ternoon Bishop Wayment presided and the music was furnished by the ward choir. The interment was made in the Warren cemetery. HARRIS Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Harris were held in the First ward meeting house yesterday afternoon. Bishop N. A. Tanner conducted con-ducted the service and the speakers were: President James Wotherapoon, Samuel G. Dye, Hyrum Shupe and Bishop Tanner, President C. F. Mid-dletou Mid-dletou spoke of knowing both families fam-ilies all their lives. There was a spe- clal musical program given and many beautiful floral offerings were placed upon the casket and the pulpit pul-pit platform. The ladles of the Maccabees Mac-cabees and the Womon of Woodcraft Wood-craft attended the service In a body. The interment was mado in the City cemetery. NIELSON Nephi H.' Nielsen died at his homo In I-Iuntsville this morning morn-ing at 5:50 o'clock. Mr. Nielsen was born In Brlgham City 52 years ago, the son of Lam nnd Sarah Josporson Nielsen. He went to Denmnrk In 1892 as missionary for tho Mormon church and was superintendent of the Mlddleton ward Sunday school for a numbor of years and at the time of, his death was Instructor of Elders and Seventies of the Hunts-vllle Hunts-vllle ward. His wife and tho following children survive sur-vive him: Nephi H Julian W., Vernal L., Sarah Brunher and Alta Nielsen. Funeral services will bo held at 1 p. m., Wednesday In the Huntsvllle meeting house, Bishop John Hall conducting. Tho body was prepared for burial by Larkln & Sons' funeral directors. Interment In Ogden City cemetery. |
