Show TWO-STORY BUILDING FOR i GARAGE ON WASHINGTON A. R. Heywood will erect two-story two-story brick building In tbe near future, fu-ture, on Washington avenue, adjoining adjoin-ing the present quarters of the James Automobile company. Tho plans for the building are now being drawn by Architect J. A. Smith and It will be modern In every respect. It will have a frontage of '25 feet and a depth of 120 feet. To erect the building it will be necessary to tear down a portion of tbe old adobe house on the corner of Twenty-sixth street and Washington avenue, which Is one of the city's oldest residences. The plans for the building will be submitted to the contractors in a few days and It is expected that it will be erected within the next few months and will cost between $G000 and 8000. Tho new building will form an annex an-nex to tho building now occupied by the James Automobllo company and is being built for occupancy by that firm. The first floor will be used as a sales and service room and the second floor will be used for an assembling as-sembling plant. An electric elevator will be ouo of the conveniences In the building. H. C. James Jr. and L. H. James, who' form the James Automobllo company com-pany opened an agency for the Ford automobiles In Ogden In the spring of 1012 In a small storo room on Twenty-fourth street. About a year ago the building which they now occupy oc-cupy was built for them by A. R. Heywood. |
