Show CHICAGO GRAIN Chicago, April 4. Favorable weather drew traders to the selling side of wheat today and pulled down prices. Dispatches from Texas said conditions pointed to a bumper crop and there were advices almost equally equal-ly flattering from other states. Resting Rest-ing commission orders, however, to buy at a decline, checked the bears. Opening figures, which were a shade to 1-4 c lower, were followed by a moderate mod-erate further setback. News of some export call from Portugal tended later to harden the wheat market. The close was'firm at the same as last night to l-SSl-4c off. A little reaction in corn took place owing to word that Argentine holders had lifted quotations. The close was steady 1-8 to 3-8c net lower. oo |
