Show 10 FIRES GALL OUT THE FI BOYS fl NIGHT Two fires caused by hot ashes required re-quired the attention of the fire department de-partment last night. The first was In a box car in the Oregon Short Line yards near Twenty-second street and Wall avenue, and occurred at 8:4b o'clock. It was extinguished with but little damage. The second call came Into the station sta-tion at 4:46 a. m. from the vicinity of Twenty-second street and Grant avenue. The call was answered and the blaze proved to be coming from a brn and double coal shed at the rear of 262 Twenty-second street, belonging be-longing to Forbes and Kennedy. This was also extinguished before much damage resulted. |
