Show Initials. Initials should always be embroidered embroid-ered in hoops or in an embroidery frame, for the material must be held perfectly straight and taut. If hoops are UBed, the two parts should fit very closely together, and if they do not fit, then the upper hoop should be wrapped with narrow tape or thin, stripg of lawn. It is impossible to do good work f the material is the least bit wrin-kled wrin-kled or sags. Use a slender needle, just large enough to carry the cotton, cot-ton, aa a big needle punches too large a hole in the material when taking the stitches. The stitches necessa-rlly necessa-rlly are very close together and the holes pierced, as the needle is brought up and down, should be as small as possible. |
