CREDITORS OF devlan meet but no action la taken in the case kansas city mo biily 31 A meeting of the creditors of charles J dev aln the former millionaire coal operator was held here today there was no action that the creditors could take except to hear a report in part from the receivers and to discuss tho possible methods 0 realizing rapidly on tho property about the time tho receivers were appointed a call for the meeting was issued by some ot tho men who wera anxious to save tho property from being scattered all three of the receivers were present at this meeting the three receivers have their appointments in such shape that the kansas receivers are recognized in illinois and the illinois receivers in kansas and while appointed separately they really form one board ot receivers most of those attending the meeting are lawyers attorneys attorn eya for banks trust companies brokers or others from whom mr devlin borrowed money
