Show 00 " MELOCRAM IS SEEN IN NEVADA Additional news has been obtained regarding Joseph Melogram, the tailor tail-or who disappeared last week, a few days following the drowning of hla sweetheart, Emma Youngquist, at Lagoon. La-goon. A tailor who stopped In Ogden for a few hours yesterday told a friend that ho saw Melogram at Elko, Nevada, Neva-da, on Sunday, and he was wearing a suit of old clothes and looked as if he had been beating his way on the trains. He did not volunteer any Information In-formation about himself and the other, oth-er, not being acquainted with the incidents in-cidents of Melogram's disappearance, of course did not question him. It Is believed that the man's mind lias collapsed from the strain of the accident in which he nearly lost his own life, and that his grief over the death of hi6 sweetheart has possessed him with a sudden desire to leave Ogden and its attendant memories. That he did not return for the girl's effects which he carefully packed pack-ed last Friday beforo disappearing and gave no intimation to anyone of hie intended departure, is regarded as further proof of derangement There is also surprise expressed that the dead girl's parents in Brig-ham Brig-ham City have never called at the Boyle rooming house for her trunk and clothing which remain In the room undisturbed except by the packing pack-ing of Melogram who stated at the time that he would call to get them on Sunday |
