In its routine and professional aspects today s early stock market showed no essential Changes from recent sessions. Trading Trad-ing was dull and spasmodic, with the undertone more or less irregular. Active Ac-tive Issues moved within restricted limits for the most part, with some heaviness in stell and metal shares, the latter reflecting weakness abroad. Prominont grangers reflected weakness weak-ness at time and a few of the high priced specialties were distinctly weak. American Tobacco falling oer four points, but recovering some on announcement of stock and cash dividend di-vidend declarations. Biscuit was another weak stock of that group Bonds were steady. Tho market closed strong. After some further irregularity caused by another break in American Ameri-can Tobacco, the market turned strong and substantial gains were made in Reading and Consolidated Gas. New York Money Market.
