Show oo MOOSE DAY COMING. Fark City, Aug 7. Arrang Meats are all but completed for thu ' Big Moose" day here on August 14 and every effort is being set forth by the local members to outdo anything of Hie kind which was ever attempted here b any other organization. A special train will arrive here over the Rio Grande Western about 10 o'clock a m., bringing along 500 Moose members, and, headed by the Park City Military baud, all will march through the business section of town A program of sports has been arranged arrang-ed for, to be held on Main atieot. and the Marsac grounds have also been encaged, where the barbecue is to be held. Two beeves, four muttons and "six hogs are to be roasted and served A queen is to preside oer all of the festhities and the contest, which was commenced last eening for the selection se-lection of the most beautiful young lady in Park City to be Moose day queen, gives promise of being a very spirited one. as thr contestants entered en-tered are already hard at work seour-ing seour-ing votes for themselves. The contest closes at noon on August 12, and some strenuous work Is anticipated for the candidates Miss Hanna.h Lecompte has a small lead, with the Misses Rhea Riley, Anna An-na Wilson, Clco Hauter, Dena Thompson, Thomp-son, Eleanor Wright, Mr3 Hodgson iind Jessie McDonld tied for second place. |
