Show 'FRISCO HAS Cuban Physician Says That Coast City Is Danger Spot New York, Aug. 7. In a statement cabled to this countrj. Dr Juan Guiteras, director of sanitation of Cuba, and formerly United States army yellow fever expert, opposes the American congressional scheme for an investigation of sanitary conditions condi-tions of Cuba. Dr. Guiteras charges that the United Unit-ed States is trying to conceal the existence of the plague In San Francisco, Fran-cisco, whore, he says, is the source of Cuban Infection and he cites the 3'cllow fever epidemic In New Orleans Or-leans in 1905, when he asserts, Cuba was infected in a similar way He further maintains that Mexico was Infected with the bubonic plague through tlie concealment of Its existence ex-istence In San Francisco. It is an inopportune time, Dr. Guiteras thinks, for the American congtesB to censure Cuba.
