OCR Text	Show RAILROAD IS BOUGHT. Norfolk, Va., Aug. 7. The Norfolk & Western Railway company has bought a half Interest In tho Virginia-Carolina Virginia-Carolina railroad from President Minges, who built It and has been oporating It. It Is reported the price paid was Jl.000.000. The Virginia-Carolina road is about 51 miles long, extending from Ading-ton, Ading-ton, Va., to Konnarock, Va. President Minges expected to extend It through Ash county, North Carolina, and other undeveloped territories lying south of Konnarock.
