Show SUITS AGAINSTi A SALT LAKE COMPANY By his attorney, Judge A. G. Horn. W. B. Ilaymund lias commenced suit against Zion's Co-operative Home Building- & Real Estate company of Salt Lake to have canceled 500 shares of stock of the defendant company and aiso to recover $500 alleged to have been fraudulently obtained by the officers of-ficers of the company. Ine suit is based on the illcgallou that the defendants induced the plaintiff plain-tiff to purchase 500 shares of the company's stock, representing to him that it was a safe and sane Investment Invest-ment and that he would get fat dividends. divi-dends. It has developed that the stock is not worth what it was sold fop and that only "so-called dividends" divi-dends" have been paid. There are a number of other suits of like character aeainst the company com-pany in the Second district court, involving in-volving more than $20,000. Prominent Salt Lake parties are identified with the defendant company. |
