Show SUFFRAGETTES AT SLEEPY HOLLOW Irvlngton. N Y. Dec if. Their ranks reinforced by local enthusiasts and suffragottcs from Irvlngton and Rockton county, across the Hudson, the little band of suffragettes front Now York City resumed their march toward Albany shortly after 9 o'clock today under a bright sun. Women at Sleepy Hollow. School children cheered the womon as they left the village, bound through Tarrytown for historic Sleepy Hollow, where tho marchers were to be entertained en-tertained at noon at the Sleepy Hollow Hol-low Country club. Thence the route led to Osslnning for the second night'3 bivouac, a nlne-mllc tramp in all. All tho marchers declared themselves refreshed by a good night's sleep and none would admit that she was footsore. foot-sore. Although official secrecy as to the exact purport of the written message which the women are bearing to the capital is still being maintained, It is understood the communication wllli ask tho new governor to send a message mes-sage to tho legislature urging the passage of a bill calling for a vote on a constitutional amendment granting grant-ing suffrage to women in 1915. |
