Show ANNIVERSARY OF RELILTJOCIETY The seventieth anniversary of the organization of the .Relief society in the church by Joseph? Smith in Nau-voo, Nau-voo, March 17, 1S42, was appropriately appropriate-ly observed Sunday, the regular ward services giving way to that occasion. The ward choir furnished tho music and the program was in the hands of Counsellor Alice S. Dean. The opening open-ing prayer was offered by B. E. Chat-elain Chat-elain and the closing one by the local president, Frances Ward. A sketch of the organization of the first Relief society so-ciety was given by Frances Rogers and a history of the local socletj by Ellen Bailey. Counsellor Charlotte Gibson gave a history of the work of the organization In this ward.
