Show TO CONFER Progressives Will Meet With Nebraska Statesman Lincoln,, Neb., March 19. William J. Bryan was 52 years old today. The annual birthday dinner that will be given tonight in his honor has brought to Lincoln many of the prominent prom-inent party leadeis of the country Mr. Bryan, who has been making an extended speaking tour, was expected to reach Lincoln from Chicago In time to take part In a conference to be held today, concerning presidential candidates and party policies. Tho conference will be limited to those representing the so-called Progressive faction of tho party. Tonight's function will bo open to Democrats of all shades of political belief. It is believed a declaration will be made In favor of a presidential presiden-tial candidate. Mr. Bryan has not yet declared his choice of those mentioned in connection with tho nomination.
