Show ALLOTMENTS ON FOREST RESERVE HomoY E. Fonn, assistant district forester of the grazing department, has gone to Salt Lake to hold a conference con-ference with tho advisory board or sheepmen of the 'Uinta forest' reserve, re-serve, In relation to allotments and othci crazing matters. W. I. Pack, supervisor ot tho 'Uinta forest, will also take part in the meetings. It Is the practice, Forester Fcnn says, for the foresters to meet rep-rcsentatlos rep-rcsentatlos of shoopmon and cattlemen cattle-men Immediately prior to the time of making allotments for garzlng in tho various forests each year, for the purpose pur-pose of reaching a perfect understanding under-standing with regard to privileges that are to be extended during the season and also to learn moro fully of local conditions. Stockmen aro placed on the advisory advis-ory boards who have greater and more accuiate knowiedgo of rango conditions than others of the flock-masters flock-masters and they nre in a position to advise the forostcrs of actual conditions condi-tions Within a short time practically all the allotments for grazing on tho forests will be made.
