H ' Suppose that the very worst that can come to this country is the H election of a Democratic administration, from President down and H that the Democrats arc placed in power, what then? There can M i be no more trust-busting or tariff-tinkoping than we have had, and M I there are signs of the Democrats and Republicans being in accord M j on both the trust and the tariff issue, with each offering to the H country a lino of public policies quite similar. H ' Whatever might happen in the way of an affliction, the country B j could recover from the setback within a year, if the men of wealth M would but stop "seeing things," and become reconciled to the fact M j mat the American people are to be trusted not to sanction anything H I destructive of property rights. H The rich men of this country are in need of a nerve tonic. |
