Show EDITORIAL PARAGRAPHS. -r k About one and a half miles south ot this city there is a large spring of warm watr, which if properly utilised could be turned into a first-class first-class bathing resort. Something that Manti is in sore need of is a place, near the city, where people may get a bath, and we can only wonder why this valuable property is allowed to go unimproved. If some persons with a little money to invest would take hold of this property prop-erty and erect a suitable building, bath houses, etc., thereon, it would not only be a financial succesB, but also a publio benefit, and would fill a long feft want. . A great many people wonder why we named our paper "The Manti Times-Reporter." The editor of the Provo "Apology" objects to it as being too long a sentence, but then those of the criminal clas3 always object to long sentences. But seriously, seri-ously, we did not get the name, it was here when we came, and tried to change the same, but they wouldn't stand our little game, because be-cause circulars had been sent out stating that Fell fc Gregory would publish the "Times Reporter'-' at Manti, and that the first number would be issued only July 1G. Not wishing to differ from the statement state-ment contained in the circulars, we published our first and second numbers num-bers under the somewhat lengthy cognomen of the "Times-Reporter," Hereafter this paper will be known as The Reporter, and will endeavor en-deavor to report all the news. |
