Show Commissioners On Job Prompt to Grasp Importance of Proposition Inaugurated by Milford Business Men's Association, Relative to Diverson of Auio Traffic 1 hrough County, and as Advocated Editorially by the News . The article appearing in last week's edition of the NEWS, relative to the diversion of auto traffic from the Lin-doln Lin-doln Highway, through Beaver County, which proposition was inaugurated by the Milford Busiuess Meirs Association, Associa-tion, and strongly advocated editorially edit-orially by this paper, has evidently borne fruit of the quick-ripening variety. Just as the NEWS goes to press and since the writing of the editorial edit-orial appearing in this issue, conies the information from reliable sources, that the county eommiHsioneis have taken up energetically the matter of road improvement on the route north of town, and are, todey going over the road out that way. with a view of determining what can be done to put the road in good condition. Word also comes that residents of Malone, Millard county, have gotten busy and expect to very shortly have their section -of the road put in first class shape up to the .Beaver County line. Reed residents resi-dents are alfo organized to help in the work on this side of the line. The 'commissioners are to be commended for their prompt discernment of tbe importance of the matter and their vuick action in getting "on the job." Full particulars next issue. |
