Show I Hinckley Literary Club A novel outdoor party was sponsored spon-sored by the Hinckley Literary Club on Wednesday, August S. A travel lour was conducted by committee memyers Margaret Jensen, Jen-sen, Eina Ekins, and Nellie Pratt, who changed plans as rapidly as Mr. Weatherman chanyed his ideas, ide-as, and gave them a ducking. At the old Fort in Deseret a pioneer pi-oneer story telling contest was won by Harold R. Morris, while later in the evening the group was entertained enter-tained by R. Swensen. Melvin Robins, Rob-ins, Lafe Nielson and Grant Robinson, Rob-inson, who gave a dance review. After riding for some time in the rain under canvas - covered trucks, the group finally found the Hinck- ' ley Park a suitable place for steak frying. Here a delicious supper was served to forty guests. |
