Show Hinckley Victory Program Everyone gathered at the City Play grounds where a large bonfire bon-fire was lighted. The program began be-gan with community singing. The flag raising ceremony was conducted conduc-ted by Arthur H. Reeve. As the Stars and Stripes reached the top of the flagpole, Ladd Cropper sang Those Ramparts We Watched. A Victory speech by Arthur H. Reeve. Stars and Stripes Forever by Mar-Low Mar-Low Nielson. Cluff Talbot announced announc-ed they had captured Hirohito and hiswhite horse, and he was bro't in riding a white goat, and after each one had a chance to spear m him witth weinie sticks, he with medals shining was tossed on the fire and burned to a crisp. The re-manider re-manider of the evening was spent roasting weiners and eating watermelon. |
