Show Receives Commendation Pharmacist Mate Third Class Thomas K. Gordon, son of Mr. and Mrs, I.. F. Gordon of Detla, received the following commendation from his commanding officer: "l.lt has been brought to the at-tenlion at-tenlion of the undersigned that between be-tween the dates, 1 April and 21 June, 19-15, during the Okinawa campaign, you displayed brilliant judgment anil outstanding ability in the proper storage of medical supplies and the issuing of these supplies to front line units. With your high attention to duty during i long and trying hours, you were responsible re-sponsible in large part for the success suc-cess of the Medical Supply Section on the Okinawa operation. 2. It gives me great pleasure to commend you for your outstanding devotion to duty far in excess of greatest demands which has contributed con-tributed materially to the success of the above mentioned operation. 3.
