Show HOME FROM ENGLAND Sgt. Arland J. Peterson came home from Europe last week. He had been in England and France and flown over Germany. He spent 22 months "over there." He was in the Ninth Air Force. His brother, Leland Peterson, came down with him from Salt Lake City, and went back Sunday. i Cpl. R. G. Gibson wrote from Belgium Bel-gium that on one of the troop trains he had charge of loading, he met Lt. Edward R. Shaw. Lt Shaw was on his way to Germany with the Army of Occupation. They were able to visit for a couple of hours before the train pulled out. Before entering the army Lt. Shaw was an inspector with the ermy engineers during the construction construc-tion of Topaz. He later became the Area Engineer when Cpt. C. J. Sauser left this project. He is well known throughout West Millard and his many friends will be glad to hear of him again. Sgt. and Mrs. Frank Bishop, and Misses Ava and Lemira Bishop went to Payson Werinescday to stay two days and visit Ora Mae .Bishou.who is in the hospital there. |
