Mrs. Leonard Dutson Mrs. Emma Nielson has been visiting vis-iting here for a few days His daughter, dau-ghter, Mrs. Barta Davis, also her granddaughter and husband, M-S Val Davidson and son Rett, all of Salt Lake City. They are returning home to Salt Lake after spending a very pleasant vacation in the canyons of southern Utah. The wedding dance for M-S Theron The-ron Nielson was held in the ward hall Saturday night. A large crowd attended. Many of their friends he worked with at Lynndyl attended the dance. M-S Nielson wish to thanks their friends for all the lovely presents they received. Bishop and Jay Nelson and wife have their daughter Carrol and her baby son from Salt Lake spending a few days with them. Mrs. Pauline Lewis and son of Pleasant Grove and her mother, Mrs. Rex Hansen of Scipio were visitors here last Saturday. M-S Burton Hanson have been in Pleasant Grove to s pend the week end with his sister Pauline, also his mother in Scipio before leaving Thursday to report back to duty. M-S Alma Harder had a very happy hap-py surprise awaiting them when they arrived home from Sunday School last Sunday. Wishing to surprise them, their sonBoyd arrived arriv-ed home from the Philippines and never notified them of his coming until they came home and he was sitting on the porch. It was a happy hap-py surprse. Major Raymond Jackson has been released from the Army. He and his wife and daughter arrived in Salt Lake. Her mother, Mrs. Fred Nielson has gone to Salt Lake to meet them and will return home with them. Marlin Nielson is leaving Tuesday Tues-day to report back to duty. After serving two years overseas he has been spending a 30-day furlough with his parents, M-S Lew Nielson. Miss Kathaline and Miss Marine Pace from Los Angeles have been visiting here with relatives, also with their grandmother, Mrs. Pace of Delta. Miss Ranee Harderand Elizabeth Finlinson went Delta Saturday to see their girlhood chum, the former for-mer Miss Nina Ashby, who is ill in the Delta hospital caused by an accident. ac-cident. Miss Fern Lovell and fiance Mr. Willden Austin, who has just returned re-turned from overseas, are in Scipio visiting with his parents, M-S Willden. Will-den. Sam Jensen, the postmaster, spent a week's vacation in Salt Lake City with his daughters. M-S Ward Moody made a trip to Salt Lake City this week and bro't home their daughter Geneal, and Cheryl Bishop and Emeret Skid-more. Skid-more. The young ladies are students stu-dents at the U of U. |
