Show Oak City... Mae Shipley The M. I. A. held a stake dance in Oak City Friday evening. A good crowd attended, but the open air dance was interrupted by an elec-, elec-, trie storm and rain and the dancers danc-ers were forced to move into the hall. I The program at Sunday night meeting was given by M-S Clarence Clar-ence Nielson and family. It was a .very interesting program. Their ' son-in-law, Ralph Crafts from Hin-cklev Hin-cklev was one of the speakers. Mrs. Rachel Melville of Salt Lake City returned home Saturday after visiting a week with relatives and friends in Oak City. Francis Anderson, son of M-S Ellis El-lis Anderson, is visiting in Richfield Rich-field with his grandmother, Mrs. Laura Orrick. M-S George D. Shipley and sons Cpl. Wesley Shipley, Ivan Shipley, and his daughter Geniel, and Mrs. Betty Swensen are visiting in Salt Lake and Ogden. Mrs. Alta Alldredge and daughters daugh-ters Faye and Johannah went to Salt Lake City last week. Miss Barbara Anderson has returned re-turned home after spending most of the summer visiting in Salt Lake City and Draper with relatives. Mrs. Myrtle Lovell and daughter Afton returned from Lark, where they have been visiting Mrs. Lov-ell's Lov-ell's son, Max. M-S Merrill Olson and son Harry were Oak City visitors this week. The Misses Verna Mae and La Von Shipley and Miss Dorothy Nielson Niel-son were hostesses at a lawn party par-ty Saturday evening in honor of Miss Jean Sanford. Special guests were Jean Curtis of Chicago, Retha Mae Roper of Caliente, Eula Roberts Rob-erts of Caliente and Thiele Anderson Ander-son of Pleasant Grove. Mrs. Jessie Roper and daughter Retha Mae from Caliente are visiting vis-iting with relatives and friends. Reed Talbot went to Salt Lake City last week for medical attention. atten-tion.
