Show Rookettes Entertained Thursday Evening Ruby Bishop entertained the Rookelte Club at her home on Thursday evening. Lunch was served serv-ed to members Beulah Bassett, Grayce Pace, LaPriel Mortensen, Rae Huff, I.orna Bunker, Barbara Spendlove, Neva Robinson and Dana Da-na Bishop. Guests were Donna Sor-enson. Sor-enson. and Sylvia Payne. Rook was played. High score was held by Rae Huff, second high by LaPriel Mortensen and low by Donna Sor-enson. Sor-enson. Miss Marjorie Moody, from Berkeley. Berk-eley. California, has been visiting in Delta for the past week with her parents, M-S M. J. Moody. Miss Moody is on vacation from the Kaiser shipyards No. 4, where she has been employed for the past two years. She brought her young cousin. Garnee, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gam Moody, of Encino. California, with her for the visit. They will leave Friday, and stop in Bui'bank with her sister, Mrs. Virginia Yundt, for a visit on the way back. |
